Training For Dogs - Tips For Understanding How the Mind Canine
If your dog out for a walk with us off leash, it does not cross the street without permission. This will prevent accidents and restless nerves of a dog that can endanger yourself and humans to cross the street without a care, therefore it is essential in training for dogs.
We also teach our dog to stop and not go further when we give the order.
First we will teach our dog not to get off the edge of the sidewalk alone.
During our regular walks, as we approached the road we stop just before crossing, but well before the cord, so the dog can not cross if I wanted, ie, without leaving room for you to strap down. Remain in this location until the dog realizes that we stopped to wait after the order pronounced "we" continue across the street. So follow this training for dogs.
After about 10 repetitions, your dog will begin to stop when you reach the end of the sidewalk, but may need to do more reps. We should not continue with the ride if the dog begins to pull on the leash, for this we have to wait to calm down and stop pulling on the leash before giving the order to continue.
That's where we can enter another order and enter the real training for dogs. Before reaching the street, just before the moment of utter stop the high-order, can be "stop", "high", "stop" or any other word of your choice. Doing so usually stopped right where our dog will gradually stopping just delivering the order, and understanding it. Then we can use this command in another context, it is helpful when we need to stop. In this way and will teach our dog two behaviors.
