How to send your articles to Article Announcement Lists

A previous feature, includes links to "Announcement Lists bis." However, after receiving several requests from readers, I realized that some writers are not aware of how these lists.

Hopefully this feature to answer many questions about "How to send your articles to Article Announcement lists ..."

First of all you need to register each list before you can post your articles to it.

When you sign up for an online list, you will receive "Subscription Options" - the choices are usually -

(1) single e-mail

(2) Digest Mode (One-mail messages with multiple daily or weekly)

(3) web-only (no email)

You should choose (2) Digest Mode or your inbox will be overflowing with messages.

It 's important to read List (s) Digests to see what other writers are submitting and make sure that the comments of the articles were published.

You should always read the submission guidelines for each individual list. The rules usually require you to submit your article in the "word wrap" format. You can do this by writing and saving your article in Word.

Then go to the web page titled

Format Text http://www.web-source.net/format_text.htm

and cut and paste text into the form online - that will automatically format your article when you click "submit".

Once your article is formatted correctly, cut and paste into the body of an e-mail

Put the title of your article in the line "Subject" - without quotes.

Put the correct address "gap" e-mail announcement list for the item you want to send your article to the "A" (and, optionally, just send a blind copy to keep track of where and when to submit your articles ).

You may also want to add the following information within the body of the e-mail (before the actual presentation of your article)
