What does it cost to sell on Ebay
Online auctions, online activities, they all seem too good to be true is not it? We heard stories of people who hit big through eBay and we think to ourselves, we can be like these people? The fact of the matter is that not everything is always bright and sunny in these online auctions and businesses. There are cost factors that come into play especially at the beginning of your business. It takes time to build a business and those without the determination to end, would then collapse and the loss of more than he earned.
There are 2 types of sellers on eBay and we will get into that as far as the selling price on eBay.
Vendors pure
These people are concentrated and just want to sell items just for a quick buck. Most of these people have no interest in expanding the 'business' in something bigger and they just sell items at a profit and this is the end of it.
The relationship builders
People in this category to look ahead and build relationships with people who sell to, take a step back to see the bigger picture. They can not sell at a profit at all, but building a relationship with the buyer and lock them in their business. As such, the buyer would always come back for more, and then create a seller-buyer relationship that lasts. With repeat purchases, so then will be able to have a value of life with this customer and collect a lot of profits in the future.
The cost issues with regard to both the sellers are about the same, but may be slightly different. For pure sellers, their primary concern would cost to pick up what they spent for the purchase of the product in the first place. If you are unable to sell what they bought, they would then lose money and therefore are unable to pay their losses.
For manufacturers of relationship, not really lose anything in how people are more likely to buy from them because what they sell it at cost and, possibly, the lowest price you can find on the market out there. As such, the problem to recover their losses from the cost price is unfounded and that what they should worry about most is the cost of long-term relationships. Yes, we can say that it has forged a strong seller-buyer relationship, however, there is no guarantee that the buyer would remain faithful to you. In this case, the loss that report builders suffer is the loss of time. They pay the price of building relationships, only to fail in the future and would never be able to recover the time devoted to their 'potential' loyal customers.
Issues of cost for the companies eBay is not really a huge problem especially if you sell an item that is quite hot in demand as there are bound to be people who want to buy if the price is reasonable. Worst case, just sell your product at cost price and earn 0 profit, but at least not to lose money as well .......
