How to stop Cafe
Hi all, stop drinking coffee is one of those goals I enjoin each year and that I can not fulfill. The problem with caffeine is that it allows you to be alert, sharpens your senses, allowing a more structured. I have no problems sleeping, or central nervous system, such as shaking or something. The coffee and life mod work for me, but I understand that many people are blockages and cognitive creative side when subjected to more than two cups of coffee per day.
My "addiction" to coffee begins when I was a college student. Drinking coffee to stay awake on those long nights of study. My mom also made me "coffee with milk? or "latte? we are accustomed today. My coffee routine is simple, but has lasted more than 15 years: a coffee before leaving the house, another mid-morning and one at 2-3 pm. The weekends are basically coffee in the morning and sometimes I take one in the afternoon to leave the porch and talk to my wife.
How do I achieve the goal this time?
Well, I was reviewing internet, and found Steve Pavlina that talks about the switch to herbal tea or green tea, herbal use of caffeine-free coffee among others. We are basically talking about a matter of self-discipline.
First is the part of health, you see, the long-term consequences can be catastrophic. That's what I'm focusing now: I see myself in 20 years suffering from any illness and how badly they would feel my relatives, morochos, my wife and myself to see myself in that state. I imagine lying in bed, his face gray and little speech, unable to coordinate prayers for the effects of caffeine. Sure, some may say I'm exaggerating but that's my reality.
My plan is basically this:
In the morning: Take my normal cup of latte. In the Mid-Morning: Take a mixture of 50% and 50% decaffeinated coffee. In the afternoon: Take a mixture of 50% and 50% decaffeinated coffee.
The mixture I will prepare at home. By this I assure you that the coffee I am using is actually the one I want. No cheating! Additionally I am using Splenda as a sweetener for that diet.
I follow this regime for a month and discuss results. Then I will change the coffee in the afternoon for tea on odd days (Monday-Wednesday-Friday 50/50 mixture and Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday tea).
I've never been a lover of tea, but can impersonate my caffeine levels necessary to function without the rigors of coffee.
I hope to share with you my progress on perhaps the only bad habit is socially acceptable worldwide.
