Car insurance: policy exclusions

Auto Insurers reserve the right to exclude from their responsibilities some damage to your vehicle. Do you know what? It is up to each insurer, we present some of the damage for which almost all the auto insurance in our country is responsible.

When a driver, drunk or under the influence of a drug, causes an accident, auto insurance can not be responsible for covering the damage, the same happens when a motorist does not have a valid license to drive: the insurance not responsible for it.

Sometimes when an accident, auto insurance may not be considered responsible for parts that were broken by lack of resistance or breakdown for daily use, or that have been damaged by risks not covered by insurance, as might be traveled by bad roads, not to own a certain type of car.

The risks that are covered are listed in the policy as well as those that are not covered, so you should carefully review these exclusions and whether it is necessary for you to be covered, you should talk to your agent about it, as insurers car can make additional coverage at the request of its customers.

When you do this kind of special requirements, insurers must give you car an endorsement in the specified changes. Remember to omit or falsely state may result in cancellation of your contract with the insurance company.

The damage caused intentionally by the insured are also part of the exclusions, ie if the insurance company notes that these scratches are intentional, may refuse to pay for the painting of the car. We also have to consider participation in racing, wagering or challenges.

Car insurance does not provide for damage caused by agricultural and industrial vehicles are performing tasks appropriate to their work.
