Ten tips for successful implementation of Marketing
How much is spent on marketing initiatives? How much is your ROMI (Return on Marketing Investment)? What is your sales right now? He increased sales? Because the sales team not in the field, but in the office? When the new product is going to launch? When competition is going to end? Who are your competitors? Check the following ten tips for implementing successful marketing:
1. Have a plan
- I have stressed this for many years, in fact, my book S6PEC Breakthrough Marketing Plan is addressing this problem, we need a marketing plan. Without plan, we have no direction and we lose money on a daily basis. I suggest you take a look at my book, Breakthrough Marketing Plan S6PEC.
2. Besides communicating
- Often when we implement marketing initiatives, only the marketing department busy with all collateral, strategy, PR, CSR, campaigns and have worn all over the world together, as if (the deaprtment marketing) is the most important department of the world! They are wrong! If you are a marketing manager or business owner, I suggest that you communicate through and begin to realize that your job is to make samples from other departments, not only the champion!
3. Price properly
- This is an exception when it was new in the business or launching a new product line that you never had before. For example, if all the time in the IT industry, suddenly different in the restaurant business, the chances of getting the wrong price of entry is high. when you are already in business for around sometimes, try a few types and price levels vs. your offers. Check Google on price discrimination.
4. Talk with your distributors
- Having a network of distributors are really cool, but if you do not keep it quiet? Most of the time, only 20% of distributors to work hard and sell your product. others are either inactive or actively selling products of a competitor. it is difficult to have the exclusive distributor today unless you have lots of $ $ $ $ incentives to offer. One way to make them love you talk to them. make them important and the secret is to "give their destination and incentify".
5. And 'the customer, stupid!
- I have said many times that number. in fact even more marketing guru said. Also in my recent reading of the Harvard Business Review that the role of Chief Marketing Officer will be obsolete, because now there's a new trend of Chief Customer Officer, particularly in multinational companies. The customer is king is not going to go away for at least the next 50 years! Unless you plan to do business for years from now, let's focus on customers!
6. Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement
- I believe in advertising. advertisement allows you to promote, recognize, communicate and sell your products and services. for small business owners and entrepreneurs, the publicity will make them a bit 'more celebrities and rather shy away and be "the person of background." I learned the hard way. I know that a self-proclaimed guru of internet marketing that has established a social media, but he himself is the only fan there! You have to advertise!
7. The experience
- We try not to think of launching when the product is not ready. The experience lasts forever as a first impression! At least create a plan on how to deal with your launch. the customer experience is the key to returning visitors and repeat purchase. is very dangerous when a client is perceived as not living up to the experience. I think always above expectations and to give support, faith in your offering.
8. Budget wisely
- Having no budget at all for the promotion is a sure way to fail. I realized that many small business owners and entrepreneurs are too rigid to allocate money for promotion. Have you ever wondered why a large pool of customers will only go to big companies or distributors? Because these large companies to set aside $ $ $ $ for the promotion and campaigns. But I do not think we should do the same, but at least we do and show the presence in the market. And do not earn what they spend on marketing and business, and end by summarizing and said: "I can buy a new BMW with this $ $ $ $ spent for my business!" wrong to think my friend!
9. Giving time
- When you do something on your business, it takes time for people to know you. I created this blog almost a year ago, along with blog Entreprenovator but just recently I had a little 'traffic and have a better presence. I also recently launched my book and I am not in a hurry to make money. Why is my biggest goal is to democratize knowledge to the masses, particularly small businesses and entrepreneurs that you enjoy.
10. Corrective action plan
- While the end point is usually softer like! "Have faith", I prefer to be realistic. we all have faith, but that would not normally have established a corrective action plan. schedule down a lot of 'what if' and 'what do you say ". Sometimes what we plan does not turn out as expected. But you can only have corrective action plan, once you start something. otherwise your corrective action plan is counterproductive! Follow?
Honestly, the Ten tips for implementing successful marketing is just the tip of the iceberg of an implementation of successful marketing. I highly recommend spending a bit 'to get your marketing right or at least manageable. I do not think it should be "penny wise pound foolish". It is really worth the money spent!...
